what's in the pack?
Each roll measures 5 cm in width and is supplied in multiples of 100 cm lengths.
Thus for your convenience, if you need a length of tekmate transparent tape that is longer than 1 m, just multiply up the number of rolls to reach the overall length you require.
For example, if you require 5 m of tekmate tape (the maximum length available is 10 m), simply make “5” the quantity and you will receive a single 5 m length as opposed to 5 x 1 m lengths.

The protective backing paper on the reverse of the tape acts as a very practical cutting grid that includes guides to help you achieve perfect corners and therefore reduce any likelihood of snagging.
The protective backing paper also includes written application instructions, in case you need them.
Finally, a pair of cleaning and degreasing wipes is included per 1 m length, for prepping and degreasing the surface before the patch is applied.

tips on using this product

Always keep a roll and some scissors (or a sharp blade) handy as you never know when you might need them.
First determine the length you need to do your repair, then mark the tape to the same length before cutting. Add an extra 5 cm to this length, mark the new length on the backing paper, and then cut the tape.
The extra 5 cm is to allow a 25 mm overlap at either end of the cut, thus ensuring a solid repair.
Round off the corners to prevent snagging.
Now clean the repair zone using the included wipes or using a lint-free cloth soaked in a 70% isopropanol solution.
TAKE EXTRA CARE WHEN HANDLING THE TAPE when you begin to remove the backing paper, as the glue coating is extremely sticky.
Peel back a part of the protective paper, apply the exposed adhesive surface of the patch to the beginning of the repair zone, and then rub down while continuing to remove the paper. Be careful not to leave any trapped air bubbles.
Your repaired item will be fully useable within minutes and fully bonded within hours.
